Spring 2027 season

Register your player

Registration opens November 21, 2026 and closes January 31, 2027. Pay the new player uniform fee by January 25 so uniforms arrive in time for the Week 1 game. Returning players stay in their fall age group for spring, then move up one age group each fall.

FAQ

Questions parents ask

Which age group will my child play in?

Age groups are based on your player's age prior to July 1, 2026. Players keep their fall age group for the spring season, then move up one group the next fall. Fall 2026 9U players are 9U for spring 2027.

What is NSID and why do I need it?

NSID verifies each player's age and identity. The Arizona Youth Football League requires it before a player can be certified to play. You'll upload a birth certificate and photo through NSID. NSID registration is required for every athlete, football and cheer, and starts at $10. NSID also offers multi-year options you can pay upfront. Sign up for NSID here.

When and where are practices?

All practices are at Verrado High School. 8U, 9U and 10U practice Mon & Wed 6:30–8:30 PM and Sat 9–11 AM. 12U and 8th Grade practice Tue & Thu 6:30–8:30 PM and Sat 9–11 AM. Cheer practice days are TBD. See the Teams & Schedule page for details.

What equipment does my player need?

The new player uniform package covers game uniforms, the gold jersey, a custom equipment bag and helmet decals. Helmet, pads, cleats and practice gear are separate. Through our Viper Loaner Program, loaner gear is available first come, first served.

How do I volunteer as a team parent or coach?

We'd love the help. Use the volunteer form on the Sponsors & Contact page and we'll reach out.
